YUMMY!
Got a sample of Pink Sugar. It's like a slightly more grown up version of Bath and Body Work's Warm Vanilla Sugar body mist (haven't tried the BBW edt). Pink Sugar is a nice vanilla-y scent that has some depth. Aquolina describes the top notes as being Bergamot, Orange, Raspberry and Fig Leaf. They say the middle notes are Licorice Blossom, Lily, Barbe-a-papa, Red fruits and Strawberry; the base...read more notes are Vanilla, Candy, Musk, Tonka and Sandalwood. It has pretty decent lasting power. I like it--it's fun and girly and young and sweet! I really only smell Bergamot and citrus at the beginning, combined w/Vanilla, and then it mostly fades into Vanilla w/some musk and a tiny tiny bit of sandalwood. It's not super super sophisticated but its pleasant. :) Would consider purchasing, although I'll have to compare it to the BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar EDT. Love at first sniff, literally. I bought this because I've wanted too forever and first thing I hear from my man was that he wanted to eat me up. He loves it... but not as much as I do. It's sweet and sexy, playful like you're walking through a candy store or smelling fresh baked sugar cookies. Yum!
I adore this scent! This is a VERY sweet, deep fragrance. It has no florals or musk just strictly gourmand! My hubby says it smells like s'mores on my skin. I smell sugar coated strawberries in the beginning and then it fades to a delightful caramel. This fragrance is definitely for a younger crowd and not for people who dislike a strong scent. Carnival
I smelled this around several men who agreed with me. Pink Sugar smells like a carnival next to a cotton candy stand. Pink Sugar smells like pink sugar on a stick. The name is very appropriate and not something that a woman over nineteen should wear unless she finds cotton candy, vanilla, and caramel enticing. It scares me actually. Sweet but good
This is definitely a girly perfume - the sweet, sugar scent takes care of that :-p However, this is not an overly sweet smelling perfume. It balances with all the sweetness of berries and vanilla with wood, orange and musk. A playful scent that you are going to either love it or hate it - no in-betweens. Too much of a good thing
I love the way this smells and the price is right, but it's too potent, especially because I always feel a little sheepish wearing this: I suspect it's for a younger crowd, not for the office. I tried it on whenever I was at Ulta or Sephora, and ultimately decided against buying it. VERY sweet
This scent smells like dessert - literally. It has a cotton candy/creme brulee scent that I adore but it's almost enough to give you a tooth ache! Oddly addictive
I usually hate fragrances that smell like food, but I tried this after receiving a free sample and I found the cotton candy scent kind of addictive. sweet, but not teeny-bopper
I was worried when i put this spray on that i would smell like britney spears circa '97. I was wrong. I have to agree, you either love or hate this product. It's not sickenlingly sweet, like pure candy, but has a sugary, vanilla-y smell that has a little muskiness to it rather than straight up sugar. Sweet, but pretty.
