I like this beand a lot & have used it for years, but it's certainly not the best. This isn't bad but I prefer Punky Color when I can find it. The pros of Manic Panic is that it is easier to find & offers a lot more colors (that I've seen) but it doesn't last nearly as long as Punky Color (especially their blues/ turqouises).This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

I used this as a refresher in between colorings. My hair is naturally dark brown. I don't bleach it so it's hard to get it to the shade of red that I want it but with this it really brightens the color. The bottle says to leave it in for 30 minutes but I've read that some people leave it in overnight or for several hours and the color lasts much longer. I'm going to try it. I know it's not a perma...read morenent hair color so it rinses out every time you wash it. I used to have hot pink hair, and this was, by far the best vibrant hair color out there. The texture is perfect-thick enough to glide through the hair without dripping and being runny. It smells nice, still chemical-but not strong. They have a huge variety of colors.
