honestly, i'm not sure this does much for my hair. You're supposed to use it after the shower when your hair is damp but I find that it leaves my hair feeling sticky and slightly rough. I do like using it when i don't have time to wash my hair though. It gives it the perfect oomph to get through the day until you can come home and wash your hair.
