This is a fantastic trimmer for the bikini area!! But please understand that it is a TRIMMER. It's not going to remove the hair completely - that's not what it's designed to do. It's not a shaver either, so it isn't going to get the hair as close as a razor. There are several lengths you can set it at, so it's perfect for just about every need. You can take the length guard off by rotating th...read moree dial to the longest length and then popping the guard off (it pops right back on). Taking off the guard allows you to get a very close trim, but be careful of sensitive areas when using without the guard. It is very easy, but be mindful of what you are doing. It is an excellent value. It takes two AA batteries that last a very long time and it has the right amount of power. All around excellent!
