A True Fan of Wen!
I only cleanse my hair with Wen Cleansing Conditioners. Regular shampoo has not touched my hair in over 2 years. The Lavender cleansing conditioner feels invigorating on the scalp and adds volume to my hair. You have to apply a lot of this product to soaking wet hair and work through until completely saturated. WEN Lavender
I LOVE the way this smells, but I have not had good results with any of ther WEN products I have used. I have baby fine hair, and lots of it. This product weighs my hair down way too much. I have tried all of them and will occasionally use 1-2 pumps as a leave-in conditioner when my hair is super dry, but on a whole I cannot reccomend this to anyone with fine hair that is expecting this product to perform the way it does in the infommercials or on QVC. This definitely takes some getting used to! The lavender is for medium to thick hair. I really use less pumps than what is recommended. My hair is shoulder length and I only use about 6-8 pumps for my entire head of hair, mind you it's also a 32 oz bottle. If you are looking for this to create suds, don't because it won't. Make sure that you rinse it out completely as this can also cause your hair...read more to look greasy. I made that mistake a few times. My experience from using for 1 year and 1 month
I have been using wen hair care system for one year and 1 month. My natural hair is fine and oily so I was looking for a product to give me more bouncy silky hair which is what wen was offering to everyone on TV. So I wanted to give it a try and I was surprised with the size of the bottles until I seen how many pumps you needed to use for one use at a time. As I was using this cleansing conditioner the smell was so pretty and when I would put it in my hair I felt this weird tingly or something. So I thought it was doing its magic or something not paying attention to it over the months. Three months later I began to see my hair just looking great over the past months and it was very smooth and soft which was unusual for me normally with my normal shampoo and conditioner so it made me excited and I felt achieved. About a week later I really took a look at my hair and I noticed it seemed thinner and I payed attention to how much hair was coming out my brush. Lets just say, I was one unhappy camper ! My hair was thinning and falling out from the bottom half of my head. The hair near my ears and lower neck was shorter pieces of hair. I called Wen up and explained and they told me “ IT WAS NORMAL” ! Such Crock of CRAP ! They sent me the cucumber before I could even cancel my order. The customer service was unbelievable! I am so sorry for those who have to deal with them ! It took me so long to finally cancel all my orders and the people keep cutting me off telling me I owe this, I should just stay because I would be saving the most money, or you can not cancel until this day because your next shipment. YES PEOPLE, this is all true! Know Wen to not buy
I was so excited seeing this product on QVC with the awesome demos. Hesitant to buy though.Elated to see it in my friends shower I grabbed it without hesitation. Yuck. I needed to use so much product to get it though my medium thick hair.My hair was left so oily since it was impossible to rinse out. Smelt fine, but not worth the wait or shipping and handling. Pungent, irritating could not rinse it out fast enough! I had to use regular shampoo and conditioer to counteract the smell and uncomfortable tingling near the lower back of my neck. Pomegranate is my number one choice. I'm trying others (not vanilla almond please) I want to try-spring-summer??? Called WEN they said return it. I have struggled with lots of fine frizzy curly hair for my entire life and I have spent an absolute fortune on products to 'tame' my hair. I LOVE LOVE LOVE wen. I personally need even more conditioning than I get from Wen products but my hair is more manageable, more curly, less frizzy and generally alot healthier than when I use shampoos and conditioners from the hairdressers or supermarkets. ...read more My only complaint is that Chaz needs to go that one step further for people like me who dont quite get the result that others do....I think we just need a heavier product.
