This Felt Like It Totally Stripped My Hair, but...
I used this Shampoo & Conditioner right after I colored my hair too. Not a great time to be trying out a new shampoo, I don't suppose. They also seem to work the best on my hair for some reason. I have a short pixie, however, the top...read more is longer. When I was rinsing the shampoo out of my hair, I noticed that the longest part of my hair felt more like this thick, squeaky feeling knot on the top of my head. The shampoo was not conditioning whatsoever. I had also used the Chi Conditioner that went along with it (Part 2). That was not conditioning enough, therefore, I ended up having to also use a deep conditioner after that since the Chi Conditioner did not really condition my hair at all either, and it certainly was not enough to get that huge wad of hair to out of a knot. I don't know what went wrong. I am going to use it one more time when I haven't just colored my hair and see how it works. If I get the same results, I am sending it back to the store. What a Bummer. I Love All of the other Chi products that I have used though, other than this pair. I am really surprised how harsh that it felt especially for a Color Shampoo/Conditioner System. :(This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This product is one of many examples of false advertising, while it does not contain SLS, or ALS, it does still...read more contain a very damaging harsh sulfate called Olefin Sulfonate C14-16 ~ look it up - u could use it to clean garages and car engines! U cannot trust the front of shampoo bottles ~ always look at the bac of the bottle for ingredients, marketers just try to hide sulfates and can be very deceptive.
