Not good!!
Perhaps I should purchase mine from a different store.....not sure that would make a difference. I always get mine at Sally Beauty Supply and I go through them like I change my underware!! It always stops working because something goes wrong with it where the cord goes into the actual handle. I don't wrap it or crimp the cord in any way. Marcel is the BEST curling Irons
The Marcel grip may take beginners a little getting used to but they far outweigh ANY of the spring clip release types. I have used the Marcel Grip for over 20 years and would never switch back.
