Does not last
I am not one to lick my lips. I would expect this to last longer. I do like the color options. I have bought a few but I am not impressed. They seem to dry out quickly. Cover Girl Lipstain
The smell was good, I was really hoping it would be a better product the colors looked great in the commericial but they just weren't true in real life they look awful on me. Covergirl Outlast Lip Stain - Color #445
I typically wear lip gloss because I prefer a natural look. I tried the stain because summer is coming and well..lip glosses don't hold up in hot humid Washington, DC weather. I have to say at first I felt like a kid holding a marker when I applied the stain but it was actually really easy. If you blend well or make multiple passes with the pen you can regulate how dark you want the stain to appe...read morear which is actually like having two stains in one. After the first application, I had a hot beverage and Wow!! the stain really held up. I also put a shimmery gloss over it which was more of a nighttime look but it worked really well. One thing to mention, right now my lips are in good shape since the cold weather in my area is over but in the winter if I had dry lips I might not opt for the stain because it would draw attention to cracks of dry spots. Exfoliating your lip will definitely help however. In general I am really happy with this product and I will buy other colors. Husband Approved
I don't like lipstick that much because I have to constantly re apply it. With this Lip Stain I don't have to worry about that. Pretty much put it on in the morning and it lasts all day. I like the quality of it and it's decently priced. My husband likes the way it looks and that it doesn't come off on him. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it makes my lips feel dry. Not bad, but not good enough.
It doesn't say what color on it, but I have #420. The color is nice and the light scent isn't bad either. One layer doesn't do much, so I apply multiple layers to get the shade I want. The stain looks nice and blends with my lips, but it leaves tiny pieces of the felt tip. It lasts about 3 hours, maybe less till the color fades. Kool-aid anyone?
I thought this was going to be a great product & boy was I wrong. It did stain, but not evenly. Apparently I have cracks in my lips that were not visible until I stained them. I looked like my lips were cracked & bleeding. 1st comment I got was "OMG what happened? Are you ok?" Not exactly positive feedback. I wasn't thrilled with the felt tip pen. Don't waste your money
I bought this lipstain thinking I can use this so I don't have to reapply all day long - streaky, sticky and went on very uneven. Also like other reviewer's said - the pen dries out quickly.
