Finally, an affordable lip stain
I love this product. I have it in 5 colors and am considering buying the rest. For those who have mentioned the dry tip, I find that if I store it upside down the tip will stay wet (I store mine in a cup with my makeup brushes).This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Novel concept, diappointing product
I bought this product based solely on the Drew Barrymore commercial not really seeing what the product looked like. It's like a Crayola marker...for your lips. I have a problem keeping lipstick to stay all day so I thought that this marker concept would work great for me. Not so. The pen is so stiff that it's not comfortable to put the color on. Not to mention the color isn't very vibrant. It take...read mores a few coats to really get a good color. It feels cakey after just a couple of coats and globs on my lips after an hour or so. I tend to be a mild lip-licker and this stuff tastes horrible. Another important factor...women look sexy when they glide on lipstick. With this stuff...not so much. If one pen were about $3 I wouldn't feel so bad about buying it but at $6-$7 it's just not worth it. YUCK!!
I've tried all prices of lip stain and have yet to find a good one. I tried this becaused it was on sale. Not enought coverage, uneven at best. This also dried out my lips and when I applied gloss or chapstick it disappeared within 30 minutes. I did discover when you think the tip is dried out shake upside down and be careful when you remove the lid. Clown Color

Awful

SOOOO Disappointed
I really liked it at first. It worked fine, even though the color didn't last long (which I thought was the point of a stain). But then, only after using it a couple of times, it wouldn't work anymore. I couldn't get the stain out of the felt tip for anything! I tried letting it sit upside down, hoping the stain would drain into the felt tip, but that didn't work. I even shook it and heard th...read moreat there was stain still in there. A few days later I tried shaking it again, and apparently it's all dried up now. I'm kinda mad that I spent almost $8 on this product. Stain is for wood
I did not care for this lip stain. It does stay on that's for sure but if you aren't careful with the application it can make your lips look uneven somehow. It really does stain your lips. Kind of reminds me of this lipstick I had when I was like 14 that would not come off but didn't look good on either. Undecided....
The Outlast Lip Stain did stain as promised, but the tip of the applicator was dry after just 3 uses!!! At first I thought, maybe the top came off w/o my knowledge, or maybe I should store it tilted w/ the top down so the solution can rundown to the tip; so I ran to the store and purchased another, only to get the exact same results! Is there a trick to keeping the applicator wet/moist?
