Stiletto
I really like Maybelline mascaras and this one is really nice. It lengthens my lashes and separates them nicely. It also lasts all day with no flaking. Should have read some of these reviews first...
If so, I would not have bought this product either. It is not terrible mascara, but nothing more than the brand's "Unstoppable" mascara repackaged. It has the same brush, but with red bristles, and seems to be the same formula. I give this atrocity two stars: one star which is mandatory and another star for effort and the pretty, sleek packaging. Everything else about this product is garbage. If you aren't careful with application, your eyelashes will turn into a clumpy mess. And not to mention by the end of the day it starts to flake off. Oh, and the price? How Odd...
Love the packaging, love the idea, not a fan of the product. It smells weird, like plastic and chemicals so I didn't enjoy even opening the tube. The brush is nothing special- wiry and painful if you accidentally brush your eyelid as I sometimes do before I have my coffee. The mascara itself is a good super black but my lashes feel like straw about to break and they look tangled, spiky, and odd...read more. At $8.99 it's expensive for something that doesn't work. I don't have a review yet of how long it lasts or if it smudges because I just put it on, but if I weren't at work I would take it right off! It's been 10 minutes and I can smell my eyelashes. This mascara does not work for Asian gals with short, straight eyelashes!!!
I'm Asian and I have short, straight eyelashes. This mascara did not work for me! This mascara results reminds me of Maybelline's Colossal mascara. The Colossal mascara didn't work work to either! I normally curl my eyelashes with my Shu Uemura eyelash curler and then I apply mascara. When I applied the Maybelline's Stiletto mascara, the curl that I got from the Shu Uemura eyelash was gone! I'll buy it again!
First, I usually prefer mascaras with the rubber bristle brush. In fact, I wish this mascara did have that feature. However, the mascara works great. I does what it says and makes my lashes look longer and fuller too. My husband even noticed that I had done something different! He loves how it makes my eyes look!
