Max Factor's new attempt, the 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper, fulfills certain demands I have for my mascara. Although I am not a huge fan of waterproof mascara, because they are so hard to remove. But I'll make an exception since it actually it lasted all though my work day and the gym in 90 degree heat without me looking like a raccoon by the end of it. That is lasting power! Long Lasting, No Clumping
I think this mascara is pretty competive with others on the market. It's definitely better than Cover Girl Lash Blast. The wand is almost identical, but I find the formula to be more wearable than Lash Blast. The mascara holds curl well and doesn't flake or disappear. This stuff is extreme!
I tested the 2000 Calorie Extreme in Black Velvet. Let's just say, "This stuff is extreme!" The mascara goes on thick and is very dramatic. It took a few times to get used to the applicator because it is so thick. The mascara did have holding power throughout the day and did not smudge. I do have to say, 2000 Calorie Extreme is probably not for someone in a hurry and running out the door. 2000 Calories?
My eyelashes must have a super motabalism if this mascara claims to be an extreme plumper! I didnt find anything special about this mascara. Maybe they were counting the calories in the clumps it leaves on your lashes? It did feel heavy on the lids. Ugh, I was actually almost late for work trying to declump my lashes from this one. The large brush doesn't help the situation - it just glops on, poor separation and could feel my eyes everytime I blinked. I recently received a sample of Max Factor’s 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper. The 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper mascara looked strangely familiar, and then it clicked! This mascara is the exact same mascara as Cover Girl’s Lash Blast mascara. Actually, it’s not the exact same - the tube is black and it costs more. One of the Best!!!
I really like this mascara. It makes it look like you have a ton of lashes, a mile long. Price is very good, also. totally affordable. One little thing though: it does tend to dry out quickly..
