Literally did nothing for me.....
I remember Nikkietutorials talking about how much she hated this product and that it did nothing for her. I have to totally agree! I received a sample of this and even though it's a pinkish lavender colored cream to brighten, it really didn't do any such thing. Didn't depuff either which was the other claim of this product. Didn't Care for this Cream
I am a big fan of Origins skin care so I had my eye on this eye cream for quite some time. I was lucky to receive a generous sample of this (especially since a little goes a long way). I just wasn't impressed with most of the aspects of this. The highlighting affect that it promises seems to come from tiny particles in the product (i.e. shimmer). Although I rely on corrector and/or concealer to camouflage my under eye circles, I am weary of a product that markets itself as aiding the appearance of under eye circles when it simply doesn't. This is a light cream, not heavy at all so nice for daytime, but the cream does have a lot of slip. I also wish that this had some sort of SPF in it since it is marketing as a day eye cream. Brightens
This eye cream from Origins has a thicker consistency than others that I've tried. I usually pat in my eye creams but with this I would have to rub or swipe it to get it absorbed because it's thick and sticky. (or maybe it somehow dried up in the container??) It does, however, brightens up my undereye area. I usually have some pretty bad dark circles but since I started using this I noticed that my dark circles are not as bad! Meh...
Not the best, but not the worst either. Had I kept my receipt, I would have returned this for something with a little more moisture. If you have dry skin around your eyes, this may or may not work for you. I was using this twice a day and it seemed to have dried out the skin around my eyes so now I use it in the mornings only. Doesn't do much

It works
I have genetic dark eye circles. They are redish bluish. I bought this eye cream because I wanted something light for hot and humid summer (although it might have been a little too light). I did not actually expect this to brighten anything. I was pleasantly surprised when it did after about a month and a half of consistent use. Of course, it did not make them completely disappear. Did nothing for
So I really wanted to love this. It has been recommended a hundred times. But I'm going to return it. The cream is a pretty nice texture but thats it. Initially I thought the cream's color meant it was tinted but its not and the mild shine it has is suppose to brighten but actually highlights every imperfection. This product is hard to explain
I've had this product recommended to me twice now in 1 or 2ish years and unfortunately I bought it both times. It never did anything bad to my eyes but I'm not sure if it has done anything good either. I have horrible dark circles under my eyes, bad enough that people thing I got in a fight (if you get my drift) so I'm ALWAYS looking around for things to help me cover them as seamlessly as possi...read moreble. One concern I brought up to the person helping me is that if I'm putting on a brightener under my eyes and then I cover it with 1 or 2 layers of concealer, how is that brightener doing anything to help me? I think if you are one of the lucky people who doesn't have severe dark circles and occasionally looks tired if you don't sleep enough, this might work for you but if you're like me and can't leave they house without putting on concealer then it would probably be best to skip this product. Nice shimmer and tingle, lightweight
I personally enjoy this product and make it a regular part of my day and nighttime routine. It's hydrating but not greasy, and the little flecks of shimmer in it makes the product work as a nice base for concealer or just to light up your eyes.
