Instant Gratification
To most people, they might instantly be put off by the price of the serum. My motto has always been, if it works, it's worth the price--especially when it comes to skincare. I'm in my late 20's and fortunately I started using skincare early on, so I felt like I have been able to delay some of the creeping signs of aging that are sneaking up on me and my friends. Unlike them, I don't have noticeabl...read moree signs of lines, but because of this serum I'm getting other anti-aging benefits. When I use this with the SuperStart serum (also from Elizabeth Arden), both products work in synergy to create fast and visible results. Within a couple days, I noticed my skin felt firmer and thicker, which is something I didn't notice that I was starting to lose a bit of collagen which makes your skin naturally firm and thick, Also, it made my skin look lifted and more contoured; my cheekbones and jawline look more defined and tighter. This also additionally plumps the way my skin looks so it looks healthy and smoother like porcelain. If you want a serum that will give you noticeable results in a short period of time, or if you are serious into skincare and want to delay the aging process as much as possible, give this a try. Yes, it's a bit of a hefty price tag, but I've paid more for skincare products that don't work as fast as this without giving me serious irritation. I do recommend using this product with the SuperStart serum because that serum allows boosts the power of this serum and any other skincare product you use with it. If you are starting to notice the signs of aging, I recommend this once a day. If you want a stronger, more heavy duty attack then use this twice a day. Do pay attention to how much you use otherwise you might burn through the bottle quickly. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 11 people said helpful

Expensive, but seeing some results
To be honest I have never really considered the Elizabeth Arden brand. I'm in my mid 40's, but saw it as a brand for more mature (OK, Older!), "well to do" women - you know, the ladies that lunch type of crowd. The prices are much higher than I normally spend on skin care. For $150 to $200+ for a single product, it darn well better give some NOTICEABLE results. I was blessed with good skin a...read morend have been careful to take very good care of it. This serum goes on silky and immediately leaves my skin feeling noticeably softer. It absorbs completely and quickly and doesn't leave a sticky or tacky feeling behind like some serums I've used. It makes my combination skin feel hydrated and comfortable - enough so that I don't even bother with a separate moisturizer as long as my foundation and / or powder has an spf. But I do add an additional moisturizer at night for added moisture and benefits.. When I apply the serum, it seems to blur the fine lines I have and even makes my larger pores around my nose appear to be much smaller. If I'm wearing a powder foundation I find that this serum is enough and I don't even need a primer. If I'm using liquid foundation I find I still like the look of using a primer on top of the serum. After about a week of using it morning and night, those fine lines are becoming less visible and even my deeper wrinkles seem to be softening just a bit. My skin is feeling incredibly soft and smooth and even feels a little firmer, something I didn't even realize I was needing any help with. I can't wait to see what the results are after a month or two of using. I may even consider adding some other Elizabeth Arden products!!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful
