It's pretty good
I am not usually a person who uses lipstick, I tend to just use lip glosses. But Rimmel frequently goes on sale and I always like to try new things. I liked that Rimmel offers a good variety of colors, and I selected a pale pink shade, but I can't remember the name of the one that I tried. I liked that the lipstick went on nice and smooth, and felt very creamy. It did not dry out my lips even afte...read morer several hours, which was very nice. However, I did not care for the way that the color had a weird sheen to it, which cast a yellowish tint over the pink. I also did not think that this lipstick wore evenly or stayed on well at all. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a long wearing formula or not, but if that's what you are looking for, then I would not recommend this lipstick for you. Not much to say.....
I think this is just the same thing as their previous lipstick but the packaging has changed a little. I got this in the color Piccadilly Pink and the color looks kind of frosty but not by much. I don't know if this is the same for all the other lip colors since I've only tried one color from this. I would compare this to the Maybelline's Color Sensational lipsticks. This lipstick doesn't last that long. It's not really moisturizing like how the name refers it to. First Rimmel product I like....
I bought this in Nude Delight and unlike other nude colors that make me look like a zombie this does the opposite. Its the perfect nude color, provides a decent amount of moisture, and just the right amount of color. It can feel oily so it doesn't last that long but for the wonderful nude color, I don't mind. Pretty "Dreamy"
Just bought this in Dreamy ~ a glossy, nude-pink. It goes on smoothly and feels very moisturizing. The only problem is that on my usually dry lips, colors that have even the slightest shimmer end up making my lips flake and peel as the color dries. But this stuff is supposed to be moisturizing and it does go on feeling balm-like. If I could give a second rating, it would be a three due to the high shimmer of this product. my favorite lipstick
I love this product. The colors are pretty and leave just the right amount of color, not too bright and not too pale. This lipstick moisturizes my lips and feels great going on, more like a balm than a lipstick. The color also really lasts, I really only have to reapply after eating, and I don't even mind because it feels good on my lips,. It's also really reasonably priced. Fabulous!
I love this new lipstick. It feels great on, and it truly does moisturize while looking beautiful. It comes in a wide array of shades (I have 3 and plan to collect more), and the packaging is the prettiest I've seen. It's also really well-priced, especially when you consider sales and the fact that Rimmel always puts out coupons. Good Drugstore Lipstick
I received the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in Red Alert for reviewing purposes a couple of months ago. Red Alert is a VERY red color and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I think it’s a true, bright red and almost borders on the side of an orange-red. I have gotten a lot of compliments when I wear it and that is mostly why I like using it. I only use it on special occasions because...read more it’s not really an everyday color for me, but that may not be the case for everyone. I highly recommend using a lip liner when using this lipstick. If you have trouble matching a lip liner, try a universal, transparent liner. I think Rimmel actually makes one in the moisture renew line, but I’m not totally sure on that. Anyway, given that this is so pigmented, it likes to get everywhere. Word of warning: Do not touch your lips or even get near them because you are sure to get lipstick on yourself. I have gotten it on my clothes, in my hair, and of course, on my teeth. You could perhaps seal it in with a clear gloss and I also recommend using a lip primer to help it from sliding around. The thing I like most about this lipstick is the formula. I’m not totally certain how it’s done, but this lipstick is true to its name because it is certainly moisturizing. I find this unique and refreshing in a lipstick because a good number that I’ve tried tend to dry the lips out. This lipstick actually seems to add some moisture to my lips and gives them a shiny, soft look rather than a matte look. On a final note, this lipstick actually has a really good smell.
