Did NOTHING for Me
Last fall I thought I detected a bit of sagging skin on my eyelids, and it made me crazy. I did a lot of research and kept coming back to Bremenn Labs, a company which produces products for very specific results--there is a "Clinical Strength Dark Circle Eraser," "Instant Forehead Smoother," and "Emergency Zit Stick," for starters. The science behind this product was convincing. Bremenn showed ...read morea grid of sorts, superimposed over the upper eye. It said, "Bremenn Upper Eyelid Lifter brightens as it lifts and firms the upper eyelid area to improve skin elasticity. Its concentrated formula works to improve the tone and texture of your skin as it minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles typical of crow’s feet. Unlike other creams, this one works to minimize the saggy, deflating appearance of upper eyelids that can cause skin to droop. Regular use of this product will help eyes appear bigger, brighter, and fresher for a more youthful appearance." I was impressed, and it is sold at The DermStore® ($59.00). Ingredients include avocado oil; shea and cocoa butters (always love to see these in a skin product); yeast, sweet almond oil, and rye seed extracts; glycerin; and hydrogenated vegetable oil. Dimethicone and peptides are the "powerhouse" ingredients made to actually lift skin, like shapewear for your eye area. Before I bought it, I didn't realize that there are no real ingredients to brighten the eye area (mistake number one). I read a number of reviews at the DermStore® and choose to ignore those that said this cream had no effect and concentrated only on those which did testify to its benefits (mistake number two). This product did NOTHING. It hardly softened my eye area or blurred the very tiny wrinkles beginning there, let alone lift sagging skin. I wasted my money completely. I would be furious, except that I am in love with Ole Henriksen's "Ultimate Lift Eye Gel," which does a great job of opening up my eyes for twenty dollars less! This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
