Really nothing special for the price..
I got this mascara in hopes to finally be happy with a mascara and I read really great reviews. I really wanted to like this but the first few times I wore it, it was extremely clumpy and made my lashes look so spidery. I tried my best to work with it, but nothing really helped except for applying one quick layer to try and avoid the clumps. I know some mascaras work better in time so I waited a f...read moreew weeks and tried again. It actually was a little better not as clumpy, but still didn't WOW me. The length was pretty nice, but not as much volume as I like because my lashes don't need a whole lot of length as they are already kind of long, they need more volume then anything. But while wearing throughout the day there was no smudging or flaking so that's a plus. Good, Not Great
Got this as a birthday present sample from Sephora. It's a glossy black and goes on glossy and smooth initially, but the product begins to get thicker and clumpy a week or so after first use. The bristles are long, sharp and somewhat thin, so be careful not to poke yourself. This might just be the huge wand in the sample, though. It also has a "ball" of bristles on the end, meant for getting those...read more hard to reach corners and lower lashes and smoothing out the ends. I read that somewhere, not sure where. But the ball isn't covered in enough bristles, so it doesn't really do much. I did notice that my lashes dried feeling soft, not brittle, but only after I'd brushed out the clumps. My lashes were slightly longer and thicker and the color was deep and black, but I prefer my usual Maybelline Define-A-Lash. long lashes with staying power
I bought a small tube of this because I was curious about it. My curiosity proved to be a good thing here. My lashes look long and defined. The brush helps get every lase including those hard-to-reach inner lashes. I also love that it stays all day with no smudging or flaking. It also doesn't dry out my lashes. Best Masacara, Bar None
I've tried it all it seems and this mascara blows every other (yes Diorshow included) out of the water. With two coats my lashes are curled, individually defined, longer and fuller. The color is strikingly black and after a nine hour work day they still look just as they did when I first applied. As long as you are using an eye-makeup remover, it comes off great, with no loss of lashes. They're Real? Because they don't look like it.
No way is this an accurate name for this mascara. It's overprized, over rated, and over-ly meh. The bottle is cute, but that's it. The brush is so ridiculously useless, I swapped it out for one of those testing mascara brushes from Sephora. It's probably my least favorite part of the mascara. The formula itself is a 50/50 thing. It gives a little bit of lengthening, but I saw no volume. The...read morere were no clumps, but the formula weighed my lashes down so much, some of them tilted to the side. UCCCHH! Don't buy this. Love!
I love this mascara. It is very dramatic and dark. I can't decide if I like this or their previously popular Bad Gal Lash better. I use them both regularly. It really is a huge difference. Great mascara with one drawback
I was excited when I received a sample of this. (I love samples and mascara so it was a great day). They’re Real is super black. It is also super glossy. I love the long, dramatic look that this mascara gives. It gives you the look of false lashes. It is totally dramatic. Your lashes look super long and separated. The not waterproof formula is as hard as a waterproof formula to remove. Even with eye makeup remover I was still left looking a little racoony. While I love the dramatic look of They’re Real, I am not willing to sacrifice the quality/ health of my real eyelashes. Benefit Rocks!
Another fantastic product by Benefit....this mascara makes my lashes look longer, thicker, and darker--which of course, everyone strives for, right? :) Just make sure to put this on slowly or it might clump.
