Not Worth It
The Purity line from Philosophy is a cult favorite, but it's mostly referring to the original purity cream facial cleanser. I received a bar of this for free (luckily), because paying 20 dollars for a bar of soap isn't exactly something I would want to do. Yes, I do like that this makes me feel clean. Anything from the Purity line doesn't have harsh chemicals or detergents in it, so it doesn't irr...read moreitate your skin (bar soap is usually a HUGE no-no for my eczema skin). It does foam up decently (like any bar of soap), and it's okay to use on my face as well. However, this bar of soap (like any) will be used up quite quickly. If you're paying 20 dollars for a bar of soap that is use up in a month, you might as well pay 16 dollars for a bottle of a Philosophy shower gel that will last for about 3 or 4 months. So this isn't a very savvy purchase to make unless you absolutely have to have bar soap; this is a good alternative to have if you're traveling because you don't have to worry about liquids. Although I don't know if Philosophy is discontinuing this because I only see it in a couple of specific places (this product never really flew off the shelves anyways).This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
