Unique and amazing
What a wonderfully unique product. These are stains that remain glossy on your lips, last all day and feel completely weightless. I would love to buy just about all the shades that they have, if only I had the money! I have a coral shade and a plum shade and both are amazing. The color is extremely easy to apply and it can be built up for more intensity. I usually apply one coat, let that sit...read more a few seconds and then go in for a second coat and the color is completely opaque and glossy. The gloss feeling wears off, but I am still amazed that after several hours, I look in a mirror and see that the color is still perfect and there is still a nice sheen to my lips. These are not the least bit sticky or heavy. They don't settle into the lines or cracks of your lips either which is so nice for such a long wearing product. These also don't feel like they are drying out your lips like so many stains tend to do. Long wear usually means drying but I don't experience any of that at all. The color selection within this range is fantastic. They have reds, corals, oranges, pinks, mauves, plums...everything. It is definitely worth it to stop at a makeup counter or Sephora to swatch these because it is difficult to determine how the color will develop without doing this. These may be expensive (it is YSL after all) but the quality of the product is amazing and I have yet to see anything else come out that can compare to this. THE BEST stain and Moisturizing Lip stick/gloss
I can't Rave about this more than it already deserves! MAC lipstain use to be my favorite, though you do have to put on a gloss to keep it at bay from feeling a bit dry. It makes my lips look, pouty, plump, alluring and "Kissably wet" the hubby says. I basically Love all the colors and atleast 17 of them look good on me. lol Tried them at sephora on my inner upper arm which is same I don't need to reapply this, but I do put on several coats if I want a darker more night time look. It lasts and keeps my lips moisturized. Sometimes I put on a irridescent color over it for a sheer look and it still last after the that color comes off. It doesn't come off like other brands and leave your lips looking have done with just color on the out rim lip. This best lip stick/stain/gloss ever. I can't wait to get 6 more. AMAZING
This is my HG lip product. I want ALL OF THE SHADES! I work in a store that sells it and I have tried almost every color. I have a wishlist in my phone of Glossy Stain shades I want to buy that's about a mile long. It is very pigmented yet very glossy. I can't buy MAC lip products because of that godawful vanilla scent and I know some people don't mind or even like that, so to each her own. The scent is definitely powerful though. It can be layered for an even more saturated look. I do not blot this or rub my lips together after application because the SA told me that it will decrease the glossiness and I have found that to be true. I usually apply it twice a day. Once at the beginning of my 8 hour shift and then once more about halfway through, usually after lunch. It last pretty well through a meal but I do like to refresh it. I don't find it drying, but I've found that if you wear it every single day you might experience increased dryness on your lips. I try to use a lot of Burt's Bees on my days off to help with that. I also live in a very dry climate so that is probably part of the problem. The texture can be a little sticky but overall I find it less sticky than most glosses. I really can't adequately express how much I love this product. I would never in a million years have thought that I would spend $30 on a lipstick until I tried this, but it is absolutely worth the price.
