The Garnier Fructis Daily Care is one of my favorite 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner products, even though I only use it about once a week. If I wash my hair in the morning, it will be greasy by nightfall! For many years, I used to just wash my hair every day to avoid having to go out in public with greasy hair. After some research, I decided to wash my hair less and try some different products and techniques to try and alleviate my problem. Now, I wash my hair every 2-3 days and I don’t use both shampoo and conditioners; I just use 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner products. I also try to alternate between brands so my hair doesn’t get too used to one kind of product. About a month ago, I dyed my hair using Garnier hair dye and decided to pick up one of the Garnier 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioners. This stuff really works great on my hair! Since my hair is dyed and I have very long hair, it has a tendency to get coarse and dry out (when it’s not greasy! Lol) This product helps keep the nutrients in my hair and also keeps it from getting coarse and drying out. It also has worked perfectly along with my little “grease-away” strategy of using different 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioners every few days. I also want to mention that I love the way this stuff smells! It doesn’t have an overpowering fruity or chemical smell like a lot of products and it leaves my hair smelling clean and just a little bit citrusy. My only complaint about this product is the way the bottle opens. There is a little green rounded knob on the top of the bottle that you are supposed to push up on and have the whole top flip open. Since I am in the shower when I wash my hair (isn’t that how most people wash their hair?!), my hands are wet and it gets really hard to flip the top open. My fingers just slip right over the knob and I can’t put enough pressure on it to open the flap. I’m also not willing to break a fingernail by trying to force the flap open from any of the sides... But besides that, this is a great product! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who dyes their hair, has trouble keeping their hair looking “healthy”, or prefers to use 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioners. The price is great too!
