Venus Embrace razor review
I have always used the cheap disposable razors. Closeness seems to be the name of the game with the Venus Embrace razor . This unit has five blades. It has two lotion beads above and below the blades for a nice smooth leg. What I like best about this razor is the design makes it very hard to nick yourself. The grip is nice. Loved it at first
I started out loving this razor. I loved the soft feel without any cuts. Unfortunately, I realized that I got extremely itchy any time I shaved. Now when I use it, I have to be very careful not to shave very close at all. Silky Smooth!

What's not to like?
This new Venus Embrace razor from Gillette is fantastic. It is very similar in feel to the previous versions of the Venus razor, with it's solid, lightweight handle, but it does have some upgrades. Five blades enhance shaving ability, and the "shower pod" perfectly mounts your razor in your shower and keeps your blades fresh and dry. I love the showerpod, and I have had no nicks or cuts...read more yet (knock on wood)! Awesome Razor
Smooth doesn't begin to describe how my legs felt after using this razor. My legs were soft and the shave was so close! It comes in a great package that you can stick to your shower wall and with two extra cartridges. Awesome Close Shave
I love this razor. The best shave ever, only drawback is that it is costly. Love this razor
I really like this razor. I usually use hair removal creams because I get stubble and razor bumps. This razor is great. It left my legs feeling great and no stubble or bumps. Gillette's multi-bladed wonders have spawned many a parody, but it's not without reason. The second iteration of Gillette's Venus Embrace has upped the ante to help you achieve the closest shave possible whilst minimizing the probability of nicks and cuts with the help of the product's moisture ribbons on the razor cartridge. Since I starting shaving at age 12 (I think), I'd say I cut myself abou...read moret 70% of the time. Not anymore, thanks to the Venus Embrace's soft grip handle for serious control. As I've said before, the Venus Embrace "corners like it's on rails," in the words of Pretty Woman's Vivienne Ward. Ladies, I spent years shaving with a men's razor and only recently begun to realize how much EASIER it is to use a razor designed for LEGS as opposed to FACES. File that under "totally obvious, but took years to learn." The set comes with a shower pod that houses the razor and two refillable cartridges. Somehow it won't stick for long on my marble shower wall, but since that's my only beef with it, I think we're doing pretty well. I'm looking forward to using mine on a more regular basis come spring. Spring, did you hear that?
