I love this razor
I have been shaving for a long time, and have used many different brands of razor and blades, but this is the best one ever. During use, the handle was very easy to grip, and the razor glided nicely over my knees and ankles. The shave was very close, and my skin felt soft to the touch for days. It was very hard to remove the razor from the packaging, and the amount of paper and plastic wrapping was overkill. First women's razor I would pay more $$ for
I've been using men's razor for years, because I've found they are better quality, last longer, can find refills for more easily and give a closer shave -- until now. I was amazed that the Venus razor has 5 blades -- crazy. The razor "head" is very flexible and works great for the under arm area. The moisture strips around the blades seem to help. Smooth Operator
Shaving legs is a part of life for us gals. So when a razor comes along and says it can leave our legs smoother for longer, our ears instantly are listening. This razor did leave my legs super smooth with very little razor burn or cuts (even with a quick shaving experience), but didn't leave my legs smoother for longer than the current razor I use. Love it!!
I had to try it and it is well worth the price. I get a clean shave and it lasts all day. I have been shaving my legs everyday for 18 years religously and I have tried alot of different razors from womens to mens. Great Razor
The razor is great. The handle is comfortable with a great grip on it, and the pivoting head makes it super easy to use. It glides quickly and smoothly over your skin. Venus keeps getting better
I've used all of the Venus razors since their introduction nearly a decade ago, and the line keeps getting better. That fifth blade helps give a noticeably closer shave. I haven't gotten any razor burn or weird nicks. Like the 5 blades, but something about the design drags
I've been a Venus razor user for several years and have been pretty happy with the brand, so when I saw the new embrace come out I had to try it. But after using it, I'm sort of ambivalent about this new addition to the line. On one hand, I definitely can feel the effects of the extra two blades. With the original Venus I've occasionally have to shave some sections of my legs twice to get each...read more and every hair, and I have to do that less with the Embrace. However, something they did to the head that surrounds the blades feels different and occasionally I feel like the rubbery plastic part is causing the razor to catch and drag rather than allowing for a smooth glide. I don't know what it is, but it's there even when I use a heavy dose of Gilette's satin care shave gel. Which makes me nervous as that increases the risk for cutting myself. Yuck!

Great razor, less great shower pod
The five blades are a cut above (ar ar) and the Ribbon of Moisture provides a smooth shave -- it's a great razor.
