I never thought I could find a razor that didn't leave me with razor burn, especially on my knees. I just excepted it as normal. Well I picked up Embrace about 2 years ago to try it and I haven't strayed since. It's the best women's Gilette razor and I really don't think you could find a better razor out there. It just glides over your skin leaving no hairs, nicks, ingrowns, or any burning sensati...read moreon. Your skin feels smooth and actually moisturized after using it. Love it!
I've been a Venus razor user for years. I've tried other brands, but have always returned to their products due to their ability to shave my legs without nicks and razor burn. The Venus Embrace is another great product in their lineup. The five blades give a nice close shave that leaves my legs smooth and stubble free for at least two days. The protective ribbon of moisture is also great at pre...read moreventing irritating razor burn and nicks around the ankles and knees. I do notice that the ribbon of moisture disappears faster when I leave the razor on the edge of the wet tub after using it rather than hanging on its holder. venus embrace
The look is sheek but that has no bearing on my choice for a shaving product. Although,I know that looks matter for everything for my teens, even shavers. The shave is close and smooth, easy to use with the tilted style. The biggest draw back is the sting of the price on cartridges. Even at large discounters; it sets me back for a tuesday night pub dinner! Smooth skin, no nicks!
I hate shaving my legs. So anything that can make the process easier and less painful is going to get two thumbs up in my book. This razor definitely passes the test! The five blades make short work of stubble, and the shape of the razor and swivel neck mean very low risk of nicks - even on my chubby legs! The handle is easy to hold on to, even with slippery with shaving cream or oil. I definitely approve! I am liking the Venus Embrace. I am still on the 1st blade (after about 2 weeks) and haven't gotten any nicks or bumps. I have noticed that I can go an extra day without shaving. Okay, I have a really dry and sensitive skin. I get a minor skin irritation when I shave with a razor, so I try not to use them. BUT when I tried the Gillette Venus Embrace, I didn't anything...no itchiness or red bump. Perfectly smooth clean shaved skin...the first time and the 2nd time too... Here comes summer! I hope I'm not rushing you, I know it's early spring! anyone who visits the women's razor aisles knows that they are constantly being improved and revamped. One of the latest in my household is the Venus Embrace by Gilette. The razor is slim and manuveurs easily, the gel handle will keep your hands feeling good for your first shearing of the season. But seriously... I honestly couldn't tell a huge difference between this Venus Embrace razor and my old Venus razor. It works just fine, very smooth and no nicks after shaving quickly in the shower. Pros: - Like the suction cups on the back of the holder, nice to stick to the inside of your shower without ruining the walls - Very smooth shave, the razor glides so smoothly that it's as if it'...read mores not even shaving!
