Worked well
The razor was very lightweight and easy to use. I got a clean smooth and had no major side effects, but I did notice that my hair started to grown back after the 2nd day and I was a little disappointed. flexxxxable
I wondered why the package read moisture strip on it. Upon first use there was a hung of goo that appeared but after that I think you need to use an additonal soap or something to keep it running sooth. All in all the head on the razor is the most sturdy and flexable I've tried. Smoooooth
This razor is pretty fantastic. Five blades?! Sounds a bit much, but I must say those five blades deliver a very smooth shave. The protective moisture ribbon around the blades definitely lives up to its name. I used the razor without shaving cream and it honestly was just as smooth... no razor burn, no nicks, nothing! Another great thing is that I've used this razor more than a few times and still haven't had to use the replacement yet. The blades are still sharp and clean and getting the job done! Being that the price point is a little on the higher side, I'm glad to be able to get a lot of use out of each replacement head. A more comfortable shave
The gummy grip and swivel head make this comfortable to use—I don't have to torque my wrist in a zillion angles. The design also allows shaving cream to pass through and not gunk up the blades. Both I and my boyfriend tried it (me on my legs, him on his face) and were happy with the results and the fact that neither of us got nicks. HUGE
At first it was awkward as Im use to using the small thin razors, this thing is huge. The blades lasted about 3 months without changing, I'm amazed, I actually spent the big bucks to buy replacement blades, do to the longevity, the shave is great, close,lasting, but I still have my skinny one that I use for my underarms, maybe just creature of habit, more practice is at hand in this area.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Smart Design and Great Women's Razor
Overall, this is a wonderfully designed women's razor. Easy to grip and glides over skin nicely, no tugging, scrapes, or cuts on my very first use! The edges of the razor head are curved and hugged my legs, making hair removal around the tricky spots (ankles, around knees) easy and as I mentioned before, no knicks or cuts! Gillette Venus Embrace
I really enjoy Gillette products, especially the Venus Embrace. It provides great quality and my legs feel smooth. I wish they would stay smooth a little longer! How Did We Ever Live With One Blade?
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of trying this razor. How much better can 5 blades be over my 3 I'd been using? Or the fact that the head is so large I didn't think my ankles would survive! But I was really able to get into all the nooks and crannies of my ankles, and with the 5 blades I didn't have to go over the same spots again and again. It was definitely a time saver. good, not the closest shave though
Just when you thought that it was impossible to fit any more blades onto a razor, along comes the Venus Embrace. 5 blades, baby! And they really provide for an easy shave! At first I was skeptical, because, let’s face it, after a certain point the number of blades on a razor will officially be ridiculous (14 blades, anyone?) but this is great. The shave was really very smooth, much smooth...read moreer than any single, double, triple or quad blade razor I’ve tried. This razor really glides over the skin so well, especially the oblong spots like ankles, knees and other nooks. I ended up with absolutely no nicks or scrapes, which is terrific because I usually manage to injure myself somehow while shaving, which is never fun. :( My only gripe is that the shave isn’t the closest or the smoothest. Maybe in making sure that us consumers don’t get sliced to bits by those 5 blades, the good folks at Gillette had to sacrifice the closeness of the shave? Who knows? My hair grows back amazingly fast, so this stood out to me, but if you're a slow-grower then you'll be ok. Venus Embrace
I wasn't overly impressed with this razor. While I liked the flexible blades I needed to push a little harder to get a close shave. It did still have a gliding feeling. While it did a good job on my legs, my underarms still required multiple passes and got irritated. All of the extras also make for a large headed razor which can be inconvenient.
