Not too shabby

Smooth and Silky
I used this for the first time just as very cold weather broke where I live, so I was able to wear dresses and skirts for a couple of days. I usually half avoid shaving my ankles and don't spend a lot of time on my knees because most other razors tend to cause those tiny, but painful cuts. But I can swoop all around my ankles and whatnot with the Venus Embrace with no problem. I rarely use shaving cream (see above running late excuse, and add lazy and sometimes cheap to the mix). Whatever moisturizer they have ALL around the razor kept my legs from being dry and itchy until I was able to put on some lotion (it's winter!). Truth be told, the only thing I don't like about this razor is the packaging. I hate those plastic containers that you have to saw through to get something out. Waste of my time and bad for the environment. It's a winner!
I've been using the Gillette Venus razor for a few years now and love it! And so, I welcomed the opportunity to try the new Gillette Venus Embrace razor. Get Spring Break Ready!
When multi-blade razors came out, I thought it was just a big marketing ploy to sell more expensive razors. I received a Gillette Venus Embrace Razor to test out and wasn’t expecting much. Boy I wish I hadn’t been wasting the last 5 years of my life on twin blade razors! This razor gave me the best shave I’ve ever had. I think I also got a much closer shave than before, since my regrowth came a lot slower than usual. This razor has five blades surrounded by a moisturizing “ribbon†making the head really wide. I thought this would make shaving curved areas (underarms, around knees, etc) hard, but it followed curves really well.  I had read that the multi-blade razors use thinner blades to help fit more into a smaller space and give a closer shave, but that they got duller sooner. I’ve been using the same razor for three weeks now and it hasn’t gotten dull yet. That’s good since these blades are more expensive to replace than my trusty old Bic Daisy. True, I haven’t been shaving a ton, since it’s winter, but I think this razor will still last a while when summer rolls around and my legs make their bare debut.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

On a budget? It's worth it!!!
I am a total Venus fan. Due to the economy these days, I just can't afford any razor that cost more than $5. I don't care what's included. Since I am on a budget I was getting the venus throw a way razors. Which are good but it's a throw a way. I ended up spending more money on the Cheap venus razors than I would if I just would have bought the Embrace out right. The 5 blades are Great!!! Gillette Venus Embrace
I think this is a great razor for women. It gives a comfortable close shave. Seems to out shave other razors. Has a a large swivel head. The product is comfortable in your hand. I love the housing that comes with the razor. Super close & Comfy Shave - RAVE!
To date, this is probably the best razor I've tried (though they keep getting better every year...) It delivers a smooth and comfy shave without any irritation and the unique swivel neck is amazing. Really cuts down on nicks and discomfort. It's Ok but I'm not sure If I'd Embrace it.
This razor worked pretty well, but to be honest I still prefer my husband's Gillette Fusion. Why do the guys always get the best stuff first? The gel handle was easy to grip, but the moisture strip didn't do a whole lot for me when I tried it with soap. When I used shaving gel- I didn't need the moisture strip anyway. After about 5 shaves I got my first nick when I shaved under my arms.
