i <3 this Venus razor
It seems like the developers of the Venus series of razors listened to my thoughts. I get sssooo annoyed with the [older]razor holder. It never stayed in the shower [it would always fall after a few weeks]and how on earth could you find a replacement? Buy a new razor! Now, there are sucsion cups on the razor 'pod' and it is very easy to put back into the shower. The product packaging is also much ...read moreeasier to open. I hate cutting my hands on plastic to get to a product. The 5 blades make sure you cover a lot of leg area in one swoop. I haven't gotten any razor burn [and I'm currently using a blade that has been on borrowed time] since I have started using the Embrace. However, the refills are costly. It almost seems more cost effective to keep buying a new one [when they go on sale]. Finally Found one I love!

oks like i have a new razor I can't live without...
This one has 5 blades; my first thought was wow, 5 more chances to cut myself. I was used to the simple pink disposable razor. I immediately liked the rubber contour grip, however I was not used to the moving head so that freaked me out a little. I used it on my legs and underarms with just some soap and I got a really good shave and it really left my skin feeling moisturized. I was pretty surpr...read moreised at the difference. Gillette Venus Embrace: A Luxurious Razor
This razor glides smoothly and evenly. The handle is very comfortable and the swivel head moves gently over those delicate knee and ankle areas. I decided to do a big test and shave one leg with just water and the Venus razor and the other with a lather and the Venus Razor…both sides were equally smooth and equally hair-free.
