Before this, I had been using the Gillette Venus Divine razor, which is a similar model with 3 blades. I liked its performance so much that last month when it was time to pick up a new razor (I like to change mine out every year), the Gillette Venus Embrace caught my eye. While I was completely happy with the Divine model, I am even more impressed with the new Embrace. The extra blades help remove hair more effectively and with fewer strokes. I shave daily and change my blade cartridge every other week. Needless to say, when the Gillette Venus Embrace showed up on my doorstep to review, I already knew I loved the product. Gillette Venus Embrace
I've used the regular venus razor for some time before reviewing this new Venus Embrace razor and I'm thoroughly impressed by it. Instead of 3 blades, it has 5 blades and it leaves you completely smooth in just one pass instead of having to use multiple strokes over the same area. I shaved under my arms and both legs, one leg with just warm water and the other with shaving cream. Both legs were ...read moresmooth and hairless, I had amsolutely no cuts or irritation on either leg. I have sensitive skin so this was a major plus for me! Both of my under arms were free of irritation and the Venus Embrace did a great job of removing the hair their. This razor is very easy to grip and moves smoothly and easily over sometimes difficult areas to shave like near the knee and heel/ankle. Although it is a bit on the pricey side, it's worth the money because it gives a great, smooth, irritation free shave and the little shower pod is also a really nice little touch. Great product!
I decided to do a big test and shave one leg with just water and the Venus razor and the other with a later and the Venus Razor...both sides were equally smooth and equally hairfree. Smooth Smooth Smooth legs!
I've been using the new venus 5 blade for MONTHS now since it came out. All i can say is AMAZING close shave and smooth legs. Harldy to none nicks. And with the power of 5 BLADES. I was less than thrilled with this product :-(

The Best Razor

Great product!!!
I absolutely love this razor. It is the first razor I have found that never cuts me. The only thing I do not like is the case it comes with. It will only stick to the wall for up to a week. Awesome razor
