5 blades do make a difference.
I bought this because of the bonus items that came with it, travel case, shower caddy w/room to store extra blades. It was well worth it. The refills blades are expensive but they work. I used to have to shave my legs every day but with the Venus Embrace a shave lasts me at the least 4 days and this is after I have used the same blade 10 or more times.
