Adds dirty feeling volume
This does work to add volume to my fine hair. However, it's one of those volumizers that works by making your hair feel 'dirty'. It does duplicate that 'been at the beach all day' feeling in your hair so if that's what you're looking for, this is it! Great..but not volumizing
I bought sea spray after reading many reviews about it . Its sold as a volumizer, but i noticed it giving my hair no added volume. In fact, it seems to weigh hair down a little but. After using it, my hair looked a little dirtier; this spray works more like a hairspray than volumizer. I used it again to spray and set my curls after using my curl wand and it really helped keep my curls in place...read more. Actually, the main reason i love and use the product is the smell; it has a beachy tropical smell to it. I had gone out with a couple guys one afternoon and they couldnt stop smelling my hair, telling me i 'smell like vacation'. Its an added bonus ;) I wish the bottle was larger.. Also, It seems the best way to use this is not to spray directly on your hair, but rather on your hands and then scruch it into hair. When you spray directly, it gives it more of a greasy hair look. Nice...but not worth your money
I purchased this at Lush because the sales associate told me that it would give my hair some beach waves. I told her i put my hair in a bun after i shower to create waves so she said it should help them last longer. As I tried to put this product on my hair a little after i shower, then in a bun...my waves lasted as long as they usually do. This product is all natural and great, but it just leaves you with your hair feeling 'beachy.' Plus the smell is a little stong.
