I purchased the NYX butter gloss in the color Eclair and I love it! I have always tended to purchase pinks in lip glosses because they look great by themselves and awesome over lipsticks. When I wea...read morer this gloss alone I put it on in the center of my bottom lip and just smack to spread it all over; if you go too crazy and apply to much it will glob on and go past your lips and looks a mess! A little goes a long way so use this sparingly. The color is a beautiful pink that reminds me of pink macaroons and Easter time. As the name says, it feels so buttery and smooth going on. It glides well and does not feel clumpy or caked on after having it on for a few hours. I love wearing this over intense lipsticks on the center of my bottom lip to tone them down but to make my lips look fuller. As all NYX products are well priced this gloss is under $7 and even though it's a small bottle, it lasts a while even with everyday use. Color is off....
I thought this was going to be a clear tinted gloss like how it was swatched on the website. I got this in Maple Blondie and was hoping for just a tinted pink gloss. I got this in the color Madeleine the second time around and it works way better. Finally a color that complements my skin tone. The only thing I don't like about the NYX line is that the color on the packaging is not exactly how it turns out when applied so I'm kind of biased towards this line AND hesitant to try new lip products from NYX because of this reason. I have to return multiple colors in the past because the color is way off and just gets annoying after a while. Enough about me having issues about the colors in this line. The formula on this lip product is super buttery, not too greasy, and not sticky at all. It's also really moisturizing. I can actually see why reviewers love this product so much. This has a nice sweet cupcake scent to it but taste nothing like the scent. I expected it to be sweet or something but it's not. The taste is a bit off but bearable enough. Just be on the lookout if you have to return multiple colors in order to find the right one for your skin tone. I now own Eclair as well and I love it! The gloss does smell nice, and the texture is pleasant, but it clumps on lips, and the color is really off. Very odd pigmentation. I like the packaging design, but that and the smell is about the only good things in this product. Love It, Love It, Love It!
I’m really not a gloss girl at all. I dislike the stickiness and the shine and sparkle that make my lips looks like they’re made of jelly, and I usually stick with my tinted lip balms, stains, and lipsticks. Though if I applied too much, it made me look rather mod with pale lips against my medium skin. The texture was, of course, buttery, not sticky in the slightest, plush, moisturizing, and just incredibly luxurious. I thought at one point I was wearing one of my liquid lipsticks from a luxury brand instead of a gloss I paid $5.00 for! Even when I have chapped or dry flakes on my lips, it all gets smooth over as soon as I apply the gloss. And everything is all moisturized by the time it fades away! However, it’s so long wearing that it almost frustrated me because I don’t need to reapply throughout the day. Honestly, I’m so in love with the scent that I would open it to smell it anyway. Some people tell me they smell vanilla and cupcakes, but I definitely get hints of caramel too! I would gladly break my no gloss rule to haul a couple more colors from the line. That said, I also really enjoyed this gloss because the finish was creamy rather than shiny or contained sparkle. So for those ladies who enjoy a little more of a sheen for their gloss and more variety in their colors, this line may not be quite as exciting because all of them seem to have the same cream finish and all but two colors (an orangey coral and a bright red) fall under the cool and nude color family.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

This NYX butter gloss DEFINITELY lives up to the hype :) GREAT pigmentation that gives your lips a nice wash of color. applies super smooth and not too sticky. smells nice. Smells and feels great!
TIRAMISU (BLG07) is a perfect nude gloss to top any lop color. Feels great on naked lips - very moisturizing. Amazing pigmentation
I had heard rave reviews about this and wanted to give these a try. I was amazed at how pigmented they really are. I can wear these alone or over lipstick. Also love the sweet scent. Poor shelf life, but good at first
I have 6 of these. They're nice colors, inexpensive and feel nice going on. They smell really good. No real lasting power, but that's almost all lip glosses for me. The biggest downfall is they seem to spoil really fast. I've thrown out a few just because they went bad, and I don't think it was even 6 months. I don't mind because of the price, but it's kinda surprisingly. NYX Butter Gloss
I have been on a lip gloss, stain, stick you name it kick. I've been reading reviews online, watching YouTube videos, lip swatch, which helped me purchase almost one hundred different lip products in the last two weeks,mom crazed but love it. Some go on really nice, and some others go on a little dry, same exact product. It seems to be a hit and miss. The only ones I returned were the ones I thought smelled funny, the others either had a nice scent or didn't have one at all. I have to say I love NYX gloss colors but the smell has to be tolerable. You will get excellent pigmentation with the butter glosses. It's not as moisturizing as other products, but does the job. I recommend getting the NYX lip primer, using that first, then add your NYX lip butter Gloss, if you want a more bold look without the bleed. Sometimes I mix them, which isn't necessary because they are Gorgeous by themselves. If you don't want a full matte look, I recommend to put over it NYX mega shine or NYX Glam Lip Gloss. They are all so pretty. I've been playing around with the colors, adding lip pencils, doing an ombré look.
