Letdown!
I was very let down by this product. Applicator is really bad, although the additional lip gloss was nice. Extremely drying to my lips. Color not quite what I expected.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Just bad...
I wasn't happy with this product at all. The application was uneven, not even a lip brush helped. It didn't last very long and when it dried, it left a weird ring around my lips. better off with a tinted balm

I am giving this same review to both this product and the NYC Smooch Proof Lipstain. They are basically the same only this one has a balm. Ok let me start with the good parts. When I first got this product I loved it. The colors are awesome and leave a beautiful "I just drank some kool-aid" look on your lips. I was absolutely obsessed with it. But it's huge flaw that I cannot get passed is that it...read more dries, BADLY. The balm is of no use whatsoever, mine broke the first day I had it. I apply my own chapstick before I apply this but it creases into the dry parts in your lips and while the rest rubs off throughout the day it leaves the creases and edges of your lips with color. Not a good look. The product itself dries out quickly and becomes hard to apply. I was just upset. The colors are wonderful and look beautiful when first applied. But I can't deal with the hassle of having to check my lips all the time and make sure they don't look horrid after I go out. And do not get me started on how badly this smells and tastes!! Disgusting! Also like to add the colors are much darker on than they appear to be in the package. Yup, so for the price, I definitely won't be repurchasing sadly. I do like the lipstain idea though and will be looking into others. This accentuated any flakes, and dried out my lips. The color went on way darker than it looked, applied unevenly, and the balm was not moisturizing. This went in the trash. I would recommend anything by benefit or even the new clinique chubby stick intense. They have great color and consistently. Waste of money
I had this in a very light, fairly neutral pink, which I wasn't expecting to be too visible, but this stuff was literally INVISIBLE, tasted gross, and was gone, it slicked off nearly the same instant that I had put it on. I only bought this at the urging of some lady at walmart, who had on a very pretty lip color and recommended it to me. Not Easy to Apply
I was so excited to find a lip stain at the drug store...and well, i've had this for over a year, and used it maybe 4 times total. The problem? It's a complete pain to apply. If you use the rollerball applicator you are guaranteed bright red/pink lips with bleedy color outside of your lipline. I've handled this issue by applying with my finger. It works okay, but I still end up with extremely ...read morebright lips (nothing like the color on the package) and stained pink fingers. Another drying lip stain...
I like how lightweight lip stains are, but most all of them I've used have been VERY drying. This one is no exception. I give it a 5 for color choice, price, and because it comes with lip balm at the end. The lip balm would make the product... if you only had to apply it over the lip stain just once or twice throughout the day. The color is not what you get once you put it on your lips, The good thing about it is for me is that it stains thats al i can say, other than that its a money waster, it wasnt as i good as i thought it would be. Once you put a blam on it you think it would be better but that atually doesnt help at all, they should improve that. I rather use a a cherry balm.
