Lovely, Smooth Lips
Revlon's "Just Bitten Kissable™ Balm Stain" gives an immediate coating of silky, luscious colors to lips. It is not unlike Tarte's "LipSurgence™" lip tint. The range of available shades is impressive. Pretty stain.....
This gives a really pretty stain but I find the product a little drying so I don't reach for this often. I have to apply an additional balm on top of this. For more color, apply this product on dry clean lips and for more subtle color, apply this after applying lip balm first to your lips. I love the mint scent to this and unlike many minty lip products, this product doesn't have much of that ting...read moreling sensation (which I don't mind) but if you don't like that sort of thing, this might be well suited for you. AWESOME Staying Power
With the new edition of matte and lacquer colors, I'm seriously more in love with these balms than ever before! I believe these really beat out Cover Girl's or Rimmel's versions. I also much prefer these to Clinique's just because the price is so affordable and there are so many more color choices! These are so travel friendly, and the formula goes on super smooth and buttery. But, those who are ...read moresensitive to scents in their makeup should know that these do come with a bit of a minty fragrance. I believe they have started putting less of it in their newer colors, but the smell is definitely still there (just a little fainter). For those who don't mind the scent, the mint actually might be quite pleasant. Personally, I enjoy it because it helps freshen my breath! Application wise, I don't ever need to drag these across my lips to get a good color payoff, and it gets slicker and easier to apply the more it warms up on my lips. The 'stain' side of these balms are great too! When the original color and shine fades away, I'm left with this nice my lips but better color that varies according to what shade I was wearing. I don't have to worry about the stain applying in patches either, thanks to the balm formula! But, I do have to complain about the lack of moisture from these, though. (I get super dry lips, so those who don't have a problem with flakes and chapping like I do may not experience this problem) My lips just feel a little tighter and flakier in places after the balm wears away and I'm just left with the stain. Applying more does help, but I just don't get nice soft lips like when I wear traditional lip balm. Plus, the balm does tend to cling on those little flake patches if they decide to pop up! This is still a great product though, especially for drugstore prices. Just Bitten Balm
I love the Just Bitten stains so I decided to try the balms as well. While these definitely don't last as long as the stains on me, I still like them a lot, They're very moisturizing, have a light minty scent, and the colors are gorgeous. LOVE THIS!

Not bad!
I got two of these in honey and cherish. They apply nice and smoothly and the colors a nicely pigmented. They really do stain your lips too I was wearing honey one day, and before I went to bed I washed my face off as usual and the next morning I woke up with some of the stain still on my lips! The smell is minty too its nice and they make your lips feel fresh. The only complaint I have is that I ...read morewish they had more colors, and it was hard for me to find a color that I liked because there is no way to actually see the product you just have to rely on the color the tube is, which I find is not totally accurate. Honey was actually a little darker then I thought and cherish was a little brighter, but its not a huge deal the colors are still nice. Other then that they are easy to apply, the way they look like jumbo crayons makes you feel like you are coloring your lips so its fun and convenient. When I first started out with these I only got one. I started with the red one... used it pretty often... Then decided I am in love with these and i need more! I went out and literally bought all the other colors at once ( look out for coupons! ). I just really love these! I dont really use any other lip products any more and usually stick to these. For me personally, they do have a nice range of ...read morecolor because I will occasionally mix them- and im not too complicated! Some days i wear bright pink- some days i wear neutral (honey), some days i wear baby pink, other days a raspberry color- etc! It is perfect for me. They do last a few hours but I like to reapply because the silk consistancy feels nice :) It has a pepperminty flavor nothing overwhelming though. For me though- it seems sometimes it will stain my lips and in a funky way where the color stays on the outer part of my bottom lip and not so much in the middle towards the cupids bow? IDK maybe its me. Doesnt bother me too much because I just keep reapplying and reapplying..... Try em out.. BE adventerous and MIx the colors if the range is not good enough for you.. You can create what you want. There is an orange one too which is cool.. Not super obnoxious probably good for summer! My favorite is honey. Everyone compliments me on it. Absolutely gorgeous, sheer color
I am so impressed by these! The chubby stick is just adorable and takes seconds to apply. I just swipe some on while at a red light in traffic on my way to work and it instantly brightens and prettifies my face. I got Romantic, which is just an awesome shade. It is reddish-coralish to me, slightly bright but immensely flattering. The formula just glides on like a dream and is defining yet nat...read moreural at the same time. It's slightly glossy too and moisturizing. The color doesn't seem to really stain quite a bit, but it does leave a very pretty, faint color on your lips. I did have to reapply a time or two, but it's a pleasure to reapply. I also dab a little on my cheeks for a great blush/stain!! It actually lasts longer that way than on the lips. Use instead of a balm under lipstick.
I had been wanting to try these for a while, because I wanted a color that stuck around better than regular lipstick. Not only do these do that, they also condition my lips. After having used them for a week, my lips are in significantly better condition. They're soft. They even look fuller. My favorite thing to do is to use a lipstick that matches the balm stain color perfectly. I layer the lipst...read moreick over the balm stain. The balm stain keeps the lipstick from smudging much like a lip primer would. Then eventually went it does (I have to eat some time!) I still have the stain color underneath! Great Color Selection!
The amount of colors to choose from is impressive. I was interested in this product because of the smell, kind of a pepperminty smell. I thought it would have a taste, but it doesn't. I love the smooth balm but it's more of just a moisturizing lipstick.
