almost as good as liquid eyeliner!
i used to wear pencil eyeliner all the time but got tired of the pulling and tugging across the eyelid, all for an uneven line that faded easily. i switched over to liquid eyeliner, which, after some practice to steady my hand, offered a bold impact but was also often uneven and flaked away...i recently picked this up as a special add-on to the eyeshadow quad and am a fan! i don't wear eyeliner o...read moren a daily basis but when i want to play up my eyes when wearing my hair up in a ponytail, this does just the trick. the sharpener's built in to ensure a fine line and it's easy to apply - no more tugging and pulling! no smudging either - this stays put! i've been a fan of the colorstay lipliner forever, how did i not know this was equally great for they eyes???This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 11 people said helpful

Oily skin beware.
This ColorStay didn't stay at all. After 2 hours, it was smudging all over the place so I end up with an unintentional and unflattering smoky eye. Water also removes most of it on oilier complexions, so its waterproof promise is false. I like that it doesn't need sharpening, though. Long night?
I will only rely on one eyeliner to stay put - and that is this one (thus far). I can put this on and not have to think about it again for about 6 hours, so it's perfect for evening. It doesn't take a miracle to take it off either, so that's an added plus. The disappointment lies in the design. I don't like twist ups because the tip gets dull and it's hard to sharpen after that. I was not surprised to discover that this eye liner spreads easily and stays on well. the original shape of the tip does not last long, but if you angle it to the side, you can get a nice thin line. perfect
Most eyeliners tend to fade or smudge on me. This didn't do either. It stays on till you're ready to wash it off. I find it washes off easily with my usual face cleanser. It glides on easily and the color is great (I have Blackberry). Best so far
I have tried SO many eyeliners, it's ridiculous, but this one seems to perform the best. It has a great smooth, almost creamy texture, has a good color, and stays well. It's also much less expensive than some high-end eyeliners that are about the same quality. The only problem was that it was a bit harder to remove than my other makeup, even waterproof mascara and long lasting lipstick.
