Good in comparison to the price
Of course it doesn't smell good, or process quickly. And the conditioner doesn't come in a tube. But it is soooo cheap that this can be overlooked. AMAZING!
So, at first I was really afraid to use this brand because it was only $2.50. I figured it must be really bad if it was that cheap. I recently stripped the color out of my hair and tried to dye it a light auburn (I'm a natural dark brunette). I botched it a bit and the color came out uneven. So I decided to go back to my natural dark brunette color. I took a leap of faith and bought two boxes of C...read moreolorsilk in brown/black. My hair falls just below the shoulders and I definitely needed two boxes to get good saturation. I would also recommend getting two if only for the extra conditioner- as some reviewers have complained about there not being enough. It really makes all the difference if you saturate your hair in the conditioner, work it through, and leave it for at least 2 min. In the end I was amazed that I got such great color for only $2.50 a box. I honestly can't tell the difference between this and more expensive at home kits (and I've tried A LOT). Also, the smell wasn't any worse than any other hair color and definitely not as harsh as formulas with ammonia. I got great natural looking color with dimension for only $5 when I was going to spend $20+ on a couple boxes of perfect 10. The Best Haircolor!!

Not bad
Not a bad product. Leaves you hair pretty healthy looking. The formula does drip but it's not too watery but make sure you cover the area you are working at just in case. great for the price!
I dye my hair red, and no matter the brand the color tends to fade much faster than I'd like. The colorsilk definitely fades slightly faster than others, but at under $4 I don't mind at all. It's an amazing product with great color and coverage. But beware! I got a terrible result

Great color at a great price
Colorsilk is my choice everytime for great easy color that doesn't damage my hair. I am a dark brunette that goes blonde and use #4 Ultra Light Blonde; I get compliments everytime and people always ask me where I get my hair done. Best hair coloring product from home!!!
I continue to use this product over and over. The color is a beautiful shine, good coverage, and it lasts!! I'm a college student and this is one of the best buys I make with my money! I have received several compliments on it, as people think it is my natural color. terrible
