Sulfate free and it lathers!!
Wow! I am so impressed with Redken for all of their amazing products but for also coming out with a shampoo and conditioner that are sulfate free but still lather, and they lather well!! Also, I have been using the Redken color extend that comes in a red package and love that this one comes in a hot pink/purple package but I can use half the amount of product that I used with the original color ...read moreextend and it still does the job!! I shampoo clients daily with color treated hair and whether they have fine hair or thick hair, a little of this product goes a long way. Most people don't know you're only supposed to shampoo the root and scalp area to rid the head of any oil, dirty, or dandruff and just let the water from the shower or shampoo bowl stream the shampoo to the ends. A nickel amount will cover all of the scalp area and once the water hits the shampoo and you scrub your scalp, the lather quickly begins to cover the head. The smell of this shampoo is excellent and very pleasant, and does not feel drying on the scalp. Many clients are turned off by shampoos that are sulfate free because they do not lather and feel like their scalp is getting cleaned but this particular shampoo will lather wonderfully!! Just started using this shampoo and it's made my hair instantly more shiny. More concentrated then the original color extend redken shampoo.
