I live with dry hands day in and day out, because where I live just happens to be in a dry, hot, windy desert. I've tried shea butter hand creams, but I didn't like those because they left my hands too greasy for my liking, and other hand creams didn't provide enough moisture. It became really annoying to have itchy, scaly, painful hands all of the time. But for Christmas, my friend gave me a tube...read more of this Crabtree and Evelyn Iris Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy cream, and after I tried it I thought, "Holy cow, this is perfect!" The only complaint of mine is that the first time I opened the tube, a huge glob of product came rushing out. But after storing it upside down for a day, that problem was fixed. This hand cream not only smells absolutely heavenly (all of Crabtree and Evelyn's hand creams do, some of the others I've tried are Lily and Lavender, and they smell like bliss as well), but it is also very long lasting and non-greasy! I squeeze out a pea-sized amount onto my palms and feel the smooth, comforting cream moisturize my hands, and it lasts for about four hours, which is more than I can say for the other creams I have tried. While this cream is incredibly long-lasting, it is not greasy at all. It is lightweight, after you smooth it on, and it sinks into your hands and it feels kind of having a silkier, more moisturized version of your hands. However, it won't make turning a doorknob, typing on the computer, or playing piano inconvenient. In fact, I barely notice it, but I do notice the heavenly scent (which gets more subtle as time passes), and the way my hands feel so much better. Overall, this is pretty much a perfect hand cream, and I will continue to purchase it.
