Just ok (as usual)
It is so difficult to impress me with a mascara. This one, like so many others, claims to add volume, length, and curl and "long-lasting wear with one stroke." Well, for starters, let's throw out that "one stroke" claim right away. Everyone always uses more than one stroke when applying mascara and to imply any product is good enough to need only one stroke is ridiculous. The brush is an extremely...read more tapered cone shape that I found slightly awkward to handle at first, but I've gotten used to it. I get plenty of volume from this mascara, but I don't find it delivers on the length and curl promises. It is pleasantly smudge resistant and doesn't irritate my eyes when I wear it with my contact lenses. It's not clumpy, either, and it dries quickly enough that I don't worry about smudging before I've even finished my makeup (I hate that). Thick Lashes
This mascara is good, not great. My lashes look pretty thick but it took quite a bit of work to separate them during the process, otherwise they would be pretty clumpy. Good but did not blow me away
I tried this through Sephora, scored a deluxe sample of it through my Beauty Insider account. I liked the brush and the deep, sooty black formula. It defined my lashes and did not smudge. But I had higher hopes for it. It honestly did not seem that much better than my beloved Cover Girl mascaras.
