I have had a bit of hyperpigmentation on my face for years caused from breakouts that didn't heal properly. I have been to a dermatologist and had acid applied to them ($80), used RX hydroquinone ($140+), glycolic acid RX moisturizer ($25) along with dozens and dozens of over the counter products in an effort to correct this issue ($350-??). This product has the highest level of hydroquinone that an over the counter product can carry, which if you recall above, I previously used hydroquinone in a RX which for the price difference did not have a significant % more than the Nadinola. In fact, I saw BETTER results with the Nadinola. The RX was almost too strong and created a bluish/black spot (a side effect of too much hydroquinone) on my skin. I then had to wait a few days for the spot to clear up, which pretty much defeated the purpose. I apply this on the spots only twice per day and let it absorb; I also use sunscreen religiously as prevention is even more important! There is mineral oil in this product, so be careful when applying to areas that may be prone to breakouts. However, I really haven't had any challenges with that and I have oily skin that is prone to breakouts. I would definitely recommend giving this a try! I will not be flushing money down the toilet any longer. I have been using this for the past several months and the improvement is huge; be consistent and persistent and you WILL see results. (FYI - this product is found in the ethnic aisle and can be used on all skin colors and tones.)
