I use this mask in two ways: for about 45 minutes with heat and for 5-10 minutes in lieu of regular conditioner. I use it once a week with heat and it works great as a deep treatment. It hydrates really well and makes my hair strong and soft. It prevents the dryness that comes with coloring heat styling. If my hair is feeling particularly parched, I use it instead of regular conditioner and it works well that way too. It gives me some added moisture and makes my hair supple and shiny. Shea Moisture masks works as well as any high end brand imo. This one makes my hair look and feel very healthy and it never weighs my hair down. This stuff is amazing! I don't really have dry hair but I have damaged curly hair and this stuff has saved my life. It smells wonderful and it does the job. After using this stuff I started to see some of my curls come back to life just after one use.
