Firstly, this bottle is huge and can last forever. I use this product after I wash my face but before I apply moisturizer. This bottle lasts forever, even if you get the smaller size. Using after washing your face, it gives a cooling effect. It is very soothing and smooth on your face. Amazing Toner
I have been using this product since my early teens along with the facial soap and moisturizer and I get atleast 3 people each day asking me what I use for my skin as it looks uterly flawless.This does a great job of removing excess oil, and dead skin. Can't do without this one
After years away from Clinique, I recently returned. I love this product. No matter what type of cleanser I use (even with the Clarisonic brush) I always see a little bit of brown on the cotton square with this product. Banned My Blackheads
I have struggled with blackheads nonstop for as long as I can imagine. I hated how big and dark they got, but I didn't want to do extractions because I heard they can scar your skin. Honestly by that point, I was just crossing my fingers that as my body settled down more (yay for hormones) they would just disappear on their own. But of course, I'm impatient, so I picked up a bottle of this (13 oz....read more for $11), and I must say I regret how much time I spent dreaming about perfect skin rather than using this. First off, the packaging is simple, but sturdy and sophisticated, and the product lasts forever. I use mine once in the morning and once at night. It's been nearly two months now, and there's honestly 19/20 of the product still there in the bottle. A lot of people say that they would prefer if this product had a flip cap instead of a screw on cap, but I actually find it quite clean and simple to use. I just put a cotton pad over the opening, flip the bottle upside down quickly, and it gives me the perfect amount of product. Then, Clinique's Clarifying lotion really does miracles for your skin. It shrunk my blackheads and kept my excess oil at bay. Also, it cleanses without drying out my skin, and it leaves a really cool, tingling feeling after using it. It's especially nice in the hot, dry summers. Another plus is that it gives rid of the makeup my makeup remover might have missed. The only thing is the scent is rather strong. Tingling, Breezy,
Fear and curiousity certainly played tennis with my urge to try this. While alcohol can be such an enemy to both dry and oily skin, this has an amount that has been cooperating with mine. With an airy, fresh feeling all over my skin, I can even notice a clarity after a couple weeks. My dull skin had lessened in the burden of blackheads and blotchiness I usually dread. Love this toner.
After running out of my clarifying lotion 3, I decided to take 2 for a spin. It burns a bit on the first few applications, like the formula 3, but it has a different smell...I wouldn't say grape (LOL) but it's not unpleasant. Not gentle but effective
I use this when I feel the need to purge my skin. When my face is breaking out and overly oily this toner dries it up and helps with blemishes. I cannot use it consistently though because of all the alcohol, it can be too drying for me if used every day.
