I've had better.....
I got this as a trial size in the Smashbox Try It Kit from Ulta. The product was so thick that it was kind of hard to squeeze out of the toothpaste look-a-like tube. The weird thing about this primer is that it's really smooth but tacky. The eyeshadow adheres to this because of the tackiness but on the downside, my eyeshadow seems to blend harder because of this too. I was not impressed. I thought...read more it was just me that this primer did this to but when I checked out other people's review on Makeup Alley I realized I wasn't the only one who experienced this. Not drying like other eye primers
I think this is a great eye primer because it doesn't dry out my eye area like other popular name eye primers do that absorb oil. Hey, I'm in my 40's and I put oil around my eye area on purpose, and I don't need to counteract the benefits I am trying to gain. There is a learning curve with this one though, because you only need a tiny bit and have to 1) work it between your fingers to soften it up...read more so it can spread and 2) wait until it has set or else it will grab any eyeshadow you apply and make it impossible to blend. My new favorite
