Very Nice

I was thrilled to receive an Exposed Skin Care kit from Total Beauty to review. Upon receipt, I appreciated the way the kit was set up-- all in one box, with neat slots for each of the 4 products-- cleanser, toner, scrub and a treatment serum. The packages were attractive and easy to use. I liked that the kit was comprehensive for all skin needs, but only 4 items. The products themselves were nice too-- very good texture to all of them, which light, refreshing fragrances. Nothing was too perfumed, and the ingredients were recognizable, for the most part. After use, I did not experience any of irritation that the instructions had described, and I generally have very sensitive skin. I particularly liked the treatment serum-- it worked very quickly, clearing up spots in about half the time of other topical treatments, with no added redness or dryness. All in all, I would say this is a great kit-- not necessarily a miracle in a box, but certainly worth trying. I would like to know how much it retails for-- I wouldn't pay a lot for it, but it was definitely a good experience to try it.

Pretty Good!

I received the this Exposed Skincare Basic 5 Piece Kit from Total Beauty to give it try. I must say after using it for a couple weeks, my skin is much clearer! I love the facial cleanser! It has a very mild scent and very gentle. After using it back to back every day, my face did seem to dry out so I used Clinicians Complex Tissue Growth Factor to help alleviate the drying. Then I proceeded to use...read more every other day and only applied the Acne Treatment Serum to the breakouts. This seems to be a very nice kit for those suffering from acne. You just have to find your own routine as far as how often should/should not apply the serum. The scrub is nice for a weekly deep cleaning. If your skin gets dry and irritated I would not use the scrub until the skin heals.

Exposed Skin Care

I received Exposed Skin Care Acne Treatment kit from Total Beauty to try and review. I have been using it for two solid weeks now. I use it day and night. I have the combination skin (oily on the t-zone, but dry on the rest of the face) with the occasional breakout before or during that time of the month, and black heads on the nose and surrounding areas. I use the cleanser twice a day, the e...read morexfoliator twice a week, and the rest of the products every day as well. First of all, I love how gentle they are on my skin. No redness or anything while using it, and I have fairly sensitive skin. Although my skin felt clean and fresh, they did not help much with preventing pimples as I got a few while using the products. However, I did notice that they did not last as long as they usually last. As far as the black heads go, I did notice a decrease on the black heads on my nose and cheeks, but still not completely gone. I think that they will be less visible as I keep using the kit on a daily basis for a while longer. It did not dry out my skin as I used my own face moisturizer which works wonders and I think this system should come with its own moisturizer as part of the kit to use daily. I think that's the only thing missing, a good moisturizer. I have keep on using this acne treatment longer to be able to give it a more accurate rating, as two weeks are not enough for a final verdict. So far it is a good product and I am satisfied with it. I think it work best on someone with mild acne and it is gentle enough to use every day as a daily routine to keep face clean and blemish free.
