The brand name of this is somewhat misleading: Dermelect. Derm means skin so I'm thinking why would they be making nail products and not skin products. I checked out the website and I guess they sell skin products like hand lotions and stuff as well. These were originally priced at $12.99 at Ulta. I found this on clearance for only $1.10. What a steal!!! This is originally more expensive than my b...read moreeloved OPI so I thought to myself that it might be good.... And it's pretty good. I read up on the website that these are the first nail polish that is peptide-infused and I was wondering what that meant. Pretty much it has peptide in it to help strengthen weak and brittle nails and prevents chipping. I've only used it twice now so I can't say if it truly has made a difference on my nails but I do love how fast this truly dries without smudging and it stays chip-free pretty long too. I accidentally smudged this by accident and it was so hard for me to fix because this dries down to a plastic coating and not a hard coating like most nail polishes I have tried so if you try to manipulate the polish on your nail, everything moves with it if you know what I mean. It can apply streaky on the first coat and not as opaque but with the second coat, streakiness is gone and color is very opaque and glossy. J'adore this so far. Should've gotten the other 2 colors that were on clearance since I think they're discontinuing this in stores and Ulta website. I can't seem to find this brand anywhere anymore besides Dermelect website.
