Some Great Shades
I have two shades of this formula, one that I absolutely love and another that could be better but is not the worst lip product I have ever tried. The shade I love is called Mattely In Love, and it is a bright, bold raspberry red. The shimmer in it is more of a sheen. The color is so stunning and would look ...read moregood on any skin tone because it is such a great pop of color. I find it to not separate, apply evenly and opaquely, and last quite well. When it fades, it leaves a bit of stain so until you touch it up it isn't too bad. Not counting eating oily foods, this lasts really well for many hours. The other shade I have is Prismatic Touch, a true rose gold. This shade is beautiful too look at, but has its drawbacks. I have heard that the other lighter shades have similar problems to this one: for one thing, it separates and needs to be shaken up a lot before application. It also is more glittery and metallic, so it makes my lips look very creased and wrinkly. It also goes on sheerer. It doesn't leave a stain when it fades because it is lighter, so it looks patchier as it wears. I like it better as a top coat over other colors, but I don't think I would buy it again if I knew that is all I would like it for. I can wear it alone for a unique rose gold lip, I just have to be patient layering and retouching throughout the day.
