Am I the first person who didn't give this a 10.....

After countless rave reviews on this, I knew I had to try it so I got a trial size in Opal from Ulta for 10 bucks. People are right when they say this gives such a beautiful natural glow to the skin without looking shimmery at all. It has such a finely milled pearlized finish that I can mix in with my foundation without me looking like a disco effect. I wish they had a trial size powder form of this for me to try since I work better with powder highlighters than liquid highlighters. This one blends nice but I don't like how it doesn't dry down all the way and still has that sticky texture. Also, what is up with the scent? It's heavily perfumed and smells like baby lotion.

Perfect Highlighting Product

I have the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Pearl" and "Opal". Both are absolutely beautiful. I have fair skin and both colors work well for me. Opal is more pink toned, but not too warm. What I love most about this product is how seamlessly it blends with the skin. This makes it easy to work with and the affect is very airbrushed and pretty. You could blend this straight with your foundation for an all over dewiness or you could apply the product on its own to wear you want some glow. I love this on top of the cheekbones, on my cupid's bow and even as an inner corner highlight on my eyes. This will last all day on your face and doesn't get blotchy like I have experienced with other liquid highlighters. A little product goes a long way and with how large the bottles are, each will last for quite a long time. This is expensive but extremely high quality, unique and long lasting. Best liquid/cream highlighter I have ever tried!

Opal

I have tan skin with olive undertones and I use Opal (which has a golden champagne finish to it). I was able to swatch Pearl, Moonstone, Opal, and Topaz and would say any of these four shades would work on any skin tone because they blend in so beautifully and really just kind of melt into the skin. It has a beautiful pearlized sheen when applied as ...read moreopposed to a shimmer bomb look so it doesn't emphasize pores or other imperfections, It makes you skin look hydrated and healthy-- the effect is noticable yet natural (though you could build it up if you were going for a look). The application is seriously foolproof; you can't overdo it. The lasting power is very good. I get about 6-8 hours of wear before I see any fading (and I have oily skin). It is a bit on the pricey side but you only need a tiny bit of product-- I use a little less than half a pump for all my highlighting needs-- so it will last a long time. It's worth saving up for. The only thing I don't love is the pump because you can't control how much product is dispensed per pump. I always end up unscrewing the top and rebottling the extra product.
