It's safe to say that professional makeup artists are always searching for (and finding) the best products on the market. They experiment with new makeup and skin care concoctions constantly, trying to find the products that apply, blend, and overall perform the best for their clients.

Enter: MAC Cosmetics -- a makeup brand created by makeup artist and photographer Frank Toskan and beauty salon owner Frank Angelo, who were frustrated by the lack of options in conventional cosmetics. They set out to create products that could hold up and look amazing under the elements of photography studio lights. Industry insiders and celebs all went crazy for it.
