Beauty Brands Support Hurricane Sandy Relief

In the aftermath of hurricane Sandy, the vicious storm that tore apart the East Coast two weeks ago, beauty brands are doing their part to help.

Frederic Fekkai salons are hosting a "Day of Giving" tomorrow where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross. Even if you don't live near a salon -- or don't need a haircut -- you can still participate. Tweet with the hashtag #FekkaiCares, and they'll donate a dollar for every mention.

After successfully raising funds for Haiti relief in 2010, Scenterprises, a custom perfume design company, is at it again. They will be donating 15-percent of the sales of their Fragrance Kits to the American Red Cross through the end of the year.

One of our editors is working with Little Care Box, a grass-roots organization that drops off care packages to families in need. Goody, Nature's Gate, Kotex, and Secret all donated products, which were delivered to homes in Staten Island.
