While most
of us have been buzzing about this for a while, a recent California lawsuit
settlement makes it official: Brazilian Blowout will have to change its
packaging and marketing to acknowledge that formaldehyde (a known carcinogen)
is one of the ingredients in its products.
It's a
pretty big change, since the brand was previously claiming to be
"formaldehyde free." But only time will tell if this keeps women from
going for the Brazilian Blowout. Tell us, do you think it's worth the risk?

It is definitely not worth the risk for me. I can't speak for others.

I DO NOT think the risk is worth it! I am very happy to hear the company has had to admit they use formaldehyde and will have to include it in the list of ingredients. I love beauty, but not enough to get cancer or die from it!
