Get Ready for Mother's Day With Carrie Underwood

We recently got to sit down with Carrie Underwood to talk about her latest campaign with Olay. It's called Beauty By Example -- and the goal is to honor one million moms by Mother's Day on May 13. "I feel like I fit right in with this campaign because my mom is my best friend -- she's beautiful inside and out," says Underwood. Even though her mom lives in Oklahoma, the singer doesn't have any trouble keeping in touch: "I talk to my mom literally every single day." When we asked her what she'll be getting her mom for Mother's Day, at first she said flowers. Then, she paused, thinking of another idea -- she looked hesitant to spill the secret. We promised not to tell, and she whispered the name of a shoe designer. Her mom is a lucky woman.


If you're still trying to figure out what to get your mom, you can start by going to Olay's Facebook page. Sign a declaration in your mom's name, and Olay will donate beauty products to the charity Look Good, Feel Better for women with cancer. "It's a great thing -- everybody wins. It's women helping women and people honoring their mothers," says Underwood.
