10 Worst EyelinersEven the cheapest of these smudging, bleeding, pain-inducing eyeliners (one costs a mere $1) aren't worth the money |
No. 2: L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Kohl Eyeliner, $13 TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 5.8*
Why: One reader gives this product a "D-" and a "big thumbs down," because she "doesn't know where they get off claiming it's smudge and wear-proof because those are the only two things [guaranteed] to happen." Others say "this eyeliner basically is a loose powder with a sharp stick for an applicator, which is a bit problematic if you aren't experienced with makeup application." One reader says, "I was mortified by how much powder was all over my face. I got so much on my face it looked like I went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson." Bottom line? It's "not worth the effort or the price, because it leaves my face looking like a hot mess" and makes "every morning a constant battle," say readers.

Don't care for how it makes my eyes look. I also tried a million times using on my waterline and it seems to collect quickly in the corners of my eyes. My eyes have a lot of water it seems.

I disagree with the lava eyeliner from too faced. I actually do enjoy the product, I just feel as if it is overpriced.

The Maybelline Waterproof Liquid Liner is the absolute worst! The brush has feather-like bristles that makes it hard to use and the formula itself has a thin, runny consistency. A total waste of money.
