Vitamin CAnti-aging benefits:
Despite Vitamin C's notoriety for boosting our immune systems, what you might not know is that it's also involved in collagen production and helps protect skin cells from sun damage, says Bauer.
Where it's found:
Bell peppers (any color)
Broccoli
Strawberries
Guava
Citrus fruits like pineapples, lemons, limes, oranges, etc.
How much you need:
Did you know that bell peppers are packed with 280 mg of Vitamin C, whereas oranges (the poster child of this vitamin) only contain 90 mg? While you need at least 100 mg of Vitamin C daily, Bauer says there's not really a set daily amount that you should eat, so she suggests that you go out of your way to eat two of the aforementioned fruits and/or veggies per day.
I can't underestimate the importance of water in your diet; many dermatologists say that you should be drinking the number of ounces equal to half of your body weight. Shocked? I was. But I've greatly increased my water intake. My skin looks far better and I'm losing weight without trying!
These are great tips. I already drink plenty of green tea and eat almonds, fruits and veggies and I can see a difference in my complexion when I don't consume these as often as I should.

I take a lot of these, but don't necessarily feel that I look younger for it. I do it for the health benefits though!

Good tips. I take tons of vitamins, as the US RDA recommendations are insufficient. Especially for women.

Great info! When I eat more E and C, my skin really shows a difference after a couple of weeks. (Much brighter and more "awake" looking.)
